In what is perhaps (yet another) scoop of Champagne Buffet, I am introducing faithful readers to the wonderment of the self-setting watch, the Casio Waveceptor. Finally, a watch that connects to those neutrons in Colorado and keeps things up to date for me. It receives a radio signal from the atomic clock in Fort Collins Colorado five times a day and sets the time of day and date, wherever you are. You just have to tell it what time zone you are in. It comes in a bunch of different flavors.
I just got mine the other day. For a few days, it was unable to synch up, but it finally found a signal and went to town. A long time ago I used to be a set the watch forward kind of person. Now I am an accurate watch person. This makes it easy.
