Another adventure in the country’s most beautiful city. I am happy to report that my favorite 7-11 in the world, on the way from Dupont to Georgetown (I affectionately call it “Colonial 7-11″) did have a working fancy style coffee machine. I was feeling over-carbed, so didn’t have any, though.

Filming in seattle. I don’t think he’ll be it. I caught this on the street after having lunch with Josh (ahi cobb salad, most delicious), who was also so gracious as to support me in immersing myself in the ways of the Idol(s). When we went inside to get his car from the valet, we came upon a young, beautiful woman, who was being interviewed on camera about her experience, right in front of the reception desk. When we looked a little closer, we realized she was crying. I couldn’t take a picture of that. I don’t know how the producers of this show can, either.
