You know, I admit I used to be a little negative on the blue angels. And sure, there’s some talk on the ground about how our taxpayers are funding these planes to demonstrate our military prowess to innocent beachgoers and latte drinkers. And yes, the planes scare the heck out of you when they’re practicing the day or two before. Oh, and traffic is tied up in knots while all the cross lake bridges are closed.
Where was I going with this? Oh yes, it is sort of cliche to complain about the Blues around here. For some reason, I don’t have an interest in doing so. Could it be that I’m a little worn down by all that’s happening around us and this is the least of our worries as a nation? Maybe. And maybe that’s a sad thing.
