On the recommendation of Daniel’s TV Blog I went ahead and checked it out.
It’s good! My Tivo need a little something special - it was starting to run out of steam. I can’t believe that Tori could maybe become this year’s Kathy Griffin. Should we start the letter writing campaign now for her to appear on the next Atlantis Cruise?
PS I just have to make an editorial comment about MSN Spaces (aka “Microsoft’s attempt at a blogging system”). Now I am not about giving Microsoft grief because they are Microsoft, but really this no industry shatterer. I tried to leave a comment on Daniel’s blog and it was so clunky that I just gave up. So here I am, commenting on my blog.
If you ask me, Daniel should move to a more flexible blogging system where he is sure to attract a lot of audience share because he knows the topic so well and is so engaging on line.
I posted the live version of “Do You Wanna Hold Me” instead of the studio version, which is the one that will bring back all of the memories. I wish the video was available for download. It’s a classic.
30 days and counting until I go to Disneyland. Nothing like a Bow Wow Wow classic (”Do You Want to Hold Me”) to prep. MTV doesn’t make them like this anymore.
Daring Fireball: Windows: The New Classic
“Everything about Boot Camp is calibrated to position Windows-on-Mac as the next Classic-style ghetto — a compatibility layer that you might need but that you wish you didn’t.”
Great article that expresses my point of view about Boot Camp. I might go further by saying that it’s a compatibility layer that I won’t really need but wish I had. I can count the number of times that I’ve booted Classic on my OS X machine on my left thumb (I mostly did it because it looked cool).
The insight around the Boot Camp logo as a bastardized version of Windows is also interesting.
