The Seattle Times: Local News: Monorail sale could bail out Seattle taxpayers
Thank goodness for the Seattle real estate boom. Unlike cities like Washington, DC, where the market is crashing and burning at an unbelievable and shocking rate (embellishments added for fun..:)), Seattle is taking off.
Too bad all that land isn’t going to be used to create a great public transit system. At least we won’t be paying car tabs for 3 more years for a system that will never be built.
