Looks like the folks with their Audiovox smartphones can stream video from their PC’s over the Web.
The article above isn’t as interesting, though, as the new ad strategy it demonstrated - when I clicked on the link - it took me to a full page ad before getting to the article. So much for pop-ups and pop-unders. I am actually okay with this if it is what it takes to keep content free. I just hate having to close multiple windows.
I decided to acquire more of this band’s music on the recommendation of a friend. Not bad!
Here is the current situation - a fairly robust Web publishing/e-mail package available from Apple (.mac), several “open source-y” type blogging systems, like Movable Type, and a pretty good Mac OS X based blogging client, Ecto:
Remembering what happened with Audion (Great Story!), I wonder if Apple is poised to do the same in the blogging world.
