I saw it for real today and it is as beautiful as it looks.
I ended up using two guides for my trip (see below)
Each seemed to cover a specific angle. The Time Out guide was very colorful with lots of pictures and had a great section in the beginning on the history of Denark. Before I left on the trip, this one seemed to be the most accessible. The Rough Guide seemed a little more useful when I was on the ground - it was a little more “frank” about the quality of some of the sights, which was helpful. It also was broken up a little better in terms of neighborhoods, rather than in terms of services. Finally, it also laid out the services and amenities up front rather well (although it did not explain the mystery of calling to the US from my cell phone!).
Both guides had respectable sections on gay copenhagen.
All in all, I have to say that both guides were welcome companions. If you are going to Europe and spending all of the money to do so, an extra $10 is a small price to pay for some helpful information.
