They’ve done it again. Canada’s fifth province has made same sex marriage legal.

A marriage commissioner in rural Manitoba responded by resigning: CNEWS - Canada: Marriage commissioner to quit over same-sex law.

This is overall a wonderful thing - those who prefer to discriminate can resign their jobs. Those who do not get to keep theirs. That sounds fair to me!

Ouch. Windows is a potentially great product, why isn’t simplified, simplified, simplified. When you watch the average user use it, they have no idea what is going on. I’m not average and I have no idea either.

I recommend Trying this instead.

Windows remains too difficult for the average person to administer, and therefore profoundly unsafe on the internet.

According to A Simple Guide To Macintosh Security:

Macintosh security is built in, not added as an afterthought. The design of Mac’s OS X made security a top priority and achieved it in many different ways.

Folks say that the Mac is more secure because it’s a minority OS and no one writes viruses for it, which is really untrue. This is part of the reason Mac users don’t have to face the same security threats that Windows users do, but not all of it.
