This is a disturbing video about the impact of condo conversions in Washington, DC

Michael and I saw a lovely performance art show at DC9 last night called CrackDC (that’s the name of the show, not a drug induced state). Summer Camp was the perfect host-ess. It was both hilarious and a nice demonstration of the great energy that DC has for having fun. When I looked at the pictures that Michael sent me, I realized that some of them are a bit too racy even for this blog. You can always go go the CrackDC Website to see more. The other photos in this post are from the beautiful Sunday in the neighborhood. Willard Street is just too lovable for words. It was one of those days where you felt lucky to be alive.

My friend Michael is trying to get me into Flickr. Not sure about this. I’m using this post to play around with Wordpress integration. I’m not a huge fan of my pictures being hosted in the cloud, and I kind of like the lightbox effect. I have been able to set that up for a photo posted on Flickr. See for yourself by clicking on the photo below.

Performing in the lobby of Woolly Mammoth Theatre in DC. GO see them. 30 plays in 60 minutes. Easy on the eyes, ears, and the ADHD-trait.

Oh Seattle, why didn’t you just get a Mac?
The fireworks looked ultimately looked gorgeous - I didn’t see any fireworks in DC if that’s any consolation…

Thanks to Michael for hosting a wonderful holiday party. Santa Scary!
Michael and I learned about this last evening. Why aren’t there cupcake wars in Washington, DC?

Dear 17th and Rage,
It’s all right. You’re forgiven, says the man dressed as the Washington Monument (which wasn’t me, but I was playing his bodyguard). We both encourage you to think, and support your monuments.

“Lightly edited” using iMovie to save time. My favorites are the Monument (of course), Princess Di, Larry Craig, and the Results Gym cheerleaders.
How much do I love this town?
