In my never ending quest for the most American of restaurants, I have finally been to Claim Jumper, courtesy of the entire Mattifesto team.

I liked it. Although I don’t think the portions are as gi-normous as I was thinking they would be. Even had the “cheese cake pie,” which I assume is the same thing as “cheese cake.” I still need to visit Cheesecake Factory for the real thing, though.

It’s nice to know what whenever I’m starved for something with a lot of calories, I have more options. There’s not even a Cheesecake Factory in downtown Washington, DC yet!

jason - 05 Apr - 4:32 pm,

The last time I was in one was in the inland empire– which is code for white trash central. But I’m not a snob, if you enjoyed yourself– wonderful.

May I suggest a place called Sizzler.
