Urge, MTV’s music download service? I was reminded that Urge existed when I was watching MTV Hits, which is a great channel, but a bizarre Web site.
Urge doesn’t work on Mac. Nail in the coffin there. And no one I know has heard or talked about it since it launched. As MacDailyNews says, “more blood on iPod’s clickwheel…” Remember when MTV was cutting edge? I sort of don’t anymore. MTV Hits is still a great cable channel, however.

I think it’s still in “beta”. However, what I’m wondering is what happened to the MTV executive heading up the URGE partnership when MSFT announced the “Zune Store”.
