Hewlett Packard introduced the Apple iPod + HP today. It looks like a huge coup for Apple. Carly said that we’ll be able to buy iPod tatoos to customize our iPods in October. Fun!
The bad news is, Carly Fiorina can’t really pull off a keynote like Steve Jobs can. She should learn the recipe - thousands of rapid fans, a whimsical presentation style, showpersonship…c’mon Carly, do it up, or hire someone who can!
I was wondering why the hell HP even bothered with this until I saw the HPTunes printer. Now it all makes sense. Apple licenses the hottest MP3 player to HP to round out their Media Center strategy, and Apple gets an entire market of appliances that are iPod-friendly.
