I am patterning my post-mortem around the excellent one provided by my preferred source of all information related to TV: Daniel Brown’s TV Blog: Apprentice Post-Mortem.
Although I cannot and will not provide as entertaining a keynote around Thursday’s events, I have to agree with many of the points expressed there.
Randall had me, he had me, he had me, he had me…then he lost me. A person with high self confidence helps others be more confident. Donald gave Randall the opportunity to help everyone win, and the just squandered it in a moment of hubris, perfectly captured for millions if not billions of people on television. Is this how he wants to remembered?
Randall, come on. More for others is not less for you.
One thing I think of is the idea that it is never too late to correct a mistake.
The other thing I think of is that Carolyn Kepcher rocks. When she was talking to Rebecca during her task - the questions she asked told the story of how she was thinking. Efficient. Shrewd. Authoritative. I believe at some point that I may be seen wearing a Carolyn Kepcher T-Shirt in mixed company. She’s the new Meg Griffin / Patty Hearst.
Once again, the Apprentice proves that Reality TV is not TV. It’s life.
