I remember B&O as the first company to really exploit new technology. They really sold that their simple CD player not only looked better, but sounded so much better than the others. I think when people started realizing all CD players sound the same, part of the B&O draw died.
I think also when people started using “universal” resource locators, the draw of going to a non-functional web site also died ![]()
