Over there on Daniel Brown’s TV Blog: The Office, people are saying that The Apprentice has gotten boring, that you read a magazine while watching it on Tivo. How can it be?
Will Carolyn ever get her own show? Would she and Rachel Ray be willing to come over and cook a 30-minute-meal with me?
I don’t think the Apprentice is boring, it’s just getting more and more obvious that Alex is the only real choice among the remaining applicants. The thing I hate about it is how nobody takes ownership of the problem. It’s all finger pointing and shouting. If I were The Donald I would have fired all three of them, which is what will happen eventually.
Is it really going to be Alex, though? It is starting to get contrived - when you have someone who loses his temper when asked what his favorite color is, what’s the point of an 8 week interview?
